Company Secretary
Under section 154 of the Companies Ordinance of Hong Kong, each company must appoint a company secretary to fulfill its statutory obligations. The company secretary may be a director of one of the directors, which must be a Hong Kong resident or a Hong Kong registered company. If there is only one director for a private limited company, one can not serve as the company's secretary.
